Welcome to our colorful world where little imaginations run wild and learning is a delightful adventure! We're here to sprinkle a bit of magic into early childhood education with playful explorations and endless fun.
‘Ethembeni Educare Centre was founded in January 1990 by Mrs. Maggie Gawa Mthwana, whose passion for helping children learn through play turned her dream into reality. After years of dedication, she has now retired, leaving the Centre in the capable hands of her two daughters, Lindelwa and Nontsikelelo.
We are an ECD Centre located in the Langa area of Cape Town, working with children from 6 months to 5 years old. Our qualified practitioners are dedicated to ensuring the children’s safety and supporting their holistic development.
OUR VISION AND MISSION
The vision as staff and committee members, together with other stakeholders such as parents is to see the educare leading, motivating and becoming a major player on quality services through early childhood development in Langa assisting in building the local leadership and human capital.
Our mission statement is to empower disadvantaged children from Langa and the surrounding areas. We will do this by restoring their human dignity and helping them reach their potential through early childhood development educational programmes.
